What we buy Gold Jewelry & Scrap
What we buy
Sell Gold Jewelry & Scrap Gold in Chicago, IL
A snapped chain, a ring that no longer fits, an earring whose partner vanished years ago, gold crowns from a dental visit nobody remembers: all of it pays the same way, on weight and purity, with condition making no difference at all. Everything is tested and weighed where you can watch.
Because jewelry is nearly always valued as gold rather than as an object, the process is refreshingly short. We read the karat stamp, verify it by testing, put it on the scale, and quote against the live gold market.

How gold jewelry gets priced
The number comes from the pure gold inside a piece: its weight multiplied by its fineness, then by the live gold price. Fourteen karat, for instance, is a little over half gold, and testing confirms the stamp rather than taking it on faith.
Non-gold components are backed out so you are paid for gold rather than for solder, stones, and clasps. If something is worth more as a finished piece than as scrap, or carries diamonds of real consequence, we will tell you rather than melting value away.

FAQ
Sell Gold Jewelry & Scrap Gold in Chicago, IL: common questions
What is my gold jewelry likely to bring?
That depends on karat and weight. We work out the pure gold content and apply the live market. Bring the pieces in and each one is tested and weighed for a firm number on the spot.
Will you take pieces that are broken or single?
Yes, and condition genuinely does not matter. Snapped chains, orphaned earrings, bent rings, and dental gold are all paid on the gold they contain.
What happens to the stones in my jewelry?
Our offer covers the gold. Where a piece carries diamonds or gemstones of real value, or has worth as a designer or antique item, we point it out so you can weigh selling it differently.
